FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT WAXING

All about Brazilian Waxing:

In the last several years, waxing services for Males and females have become a common (and popular) service offered at salons and spas. Many people choose to wax for longer-lasting hair removal, whether it’s the eyebrow, upper lip, armpit, nose, back, or someplace more intimate. But to those who’ve never done it (or who’ve done it once and had a bad experience), it can seem a bit daunting. If you’re thinking about trying Waxing, we’ve everything from preparation to what kind of results to expect, so you can be well prepared when it comes time to take it off your hair. Brazilian Waxing was popular in the United States in the late 1980s; Brazilian waxing dates back as far as 3,000 years in Egypt. They used their form of Brazilian Waxing for waxing (and other) ceremonies, using sugar paste mixed with lemon. As Brazilians, we use authentic Brazilian bean wax that is all-natural. It is faster, less painful, and long-lasting.

WHO SHOULD WAX

Waxing is an excellent alternative to shaving if you have hair that you’re uncomfortable with. “Waxing is a hair removal recommended for people over age 14 and both genders.”

WAXING VS. SHAVING

“Waxing is better because it removes [hair] from the root,” when you shave, “you just cut the hair, so two hours later, you can see the hair there or the blue shadow.” Waxing, on the other hand, not only can last up to a month. Over time, it thins the hair, so less grows back. Bonus: It also exfoliates the skin, leaving you feeling silky smooth.

BIKINI VS. BRAZILIAN

A Brazilian wax removes more hair than a bikini wax. Whereas a bikini focuses on the front and sides (what would be visible in a swimsuit), the Brazilian removes the front, sides, back, and everything in between, often only leaving a strip of hair in the front- or none at all. Most of the time, you can leave your underwear on during a standard bikini wax, but for a Brazilian, you’ll have to be sans panties.

WHY BRAZILIAN?

Some reasons for having a Brazilian wax include Cleanliness, personal hygiene, reduced body odor, Itching, increased self-confidence, convenience, and, of course, feeling “sexier and smooth.”

PREPARING FOR A WAX – HOW OFTEN TO WAX

If you’ve shaved recently, we need at least two weeks of hair growth (1/4 inch). The time between waxes varies depending on how quickly or coarsely the hair grows back. “You should wait three to four weeks between waxes. “But in an emergency, if you are about to go on vacation, you can return quickly with no problem.”

WHAT TO EXPECT

We are a body waxing therapist who works with the best Brazilian Bee wax on the market. (Authentic natural Brazilian Bees Wax). It’s applied on clean skin and warmly, letting your pores open and facilitating hair pulling from the roots with minimal discomfort. “There are two different types of wax,” “We apply the soft wax with paper or muslin strips and remove the BEESWAX without strips.” In general, BEES WAX is used to remove hair in private areas. We apply the soft wax on larger body areas like the leg, chest, back, or armpit. Afterward, we will remove any waxy residue and apply the cream.

WAXING SALON – HYGIENE

First, ensure you go to a place with proper sterilization procedures. “The waxing therapist should be licensed and not double dip during the waxing session.” (Double dipping means that the technician used the same stick each time she dipped into the vat of hot wax. This practice contaminates the wax and allows bacteria to spread from one client to another. We do not double dip. We always wear disposable gloves. We use sanitary coverings. We sanitize tweezers and other tools. Regarding sanitation, we go the extra mile and spend the extra dollar on your protection.
